Don’t let cost decide for you.

If you have the talent and the drive, we will help you find a way to afford it. Here is how.

Financial circumstances should not decide who studies here. UNIABIDJAN supports access, academic excellence, leadership and inclusion through scholarships, grants and tuition-support schemes. Awards are made on academic merit, leadership potential, financial need, programme of study or community engagement.

Special and Institutional Grants

Announced

Announced from time to time: continuing students, international students, athletes, students in research or enterprise projects, and cases of exceptional hardship.

Awards are limited and competitive. Admission does not guarantee financial assistance, and meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee an award. Values and availability change from one academic year to the next.

How to apply

01

Apply for admission to an eligible UNIABIDJAN programme first.

02

Complete the scholarship or financial aid form for the category you are applying under. Depending on the award, this goes in alongside your admission application or after an offer is issued.

03

Send your supporting documents: transcripts, examination results, certificates, a motivation letter, and proof of household income for need-based applications. Incomplete applications may not be considered.

04

Applications are assessed against the criteria set for each award, then shortlisted.

05

Applicants shortlisted for the most competitive awards may be invited to an interview.

06

Successful applicants receive written confirmation setting out the nature, value, duration and conditions of the award. Nothing is awarded until that confirmation arrives.

A scholarship runs for a semester, an academic year or the length of the programme, depending on its terms. To keep one you stay registered, maintain satisfactory academic performance and attendance, observe University rules, and continue to meet the award’s own conditions. An award can be reviewed, reduced, suspended or withdrawn if those conditions are no longer met.

Apply for a scholarship

Complete this once you hold an offer of admission. Tick every award you want to be considered for, upload your documents, and we will assess your application against the criteria for each one.
