Bachelors Taught in English

Six bachelor’s degrees across four faculties, taught in English over four years. Five of them have a French Licence equivalent on the same campus, so for most subjects you can choose the language you study in.

All six degrees taught here in English run for four years, and five have the equivalent of the Licence taught in French on the same campus. You choose the language you think in, not the course you settle for.

How the four years work

Year 1

A shared foundation year

Every English Bachelor opens with the same foundation year: college algebra, academic writing and the use of English, French, an introduction to management, teamwork and computer science, study skills and office software. Nobody specialises before that groundwork is in place.

Years 2 and 3

Into your faculty, and out on placement

Your timetable moves inside your own faculty: systems and networks in Information Technology, accounting and economics in Business Administration, translation and interpreting in Applied Foreign Languages. The breaks between these years are when most students take their first placement.

Year 4

Your option, and one piece of work that counts

The final year follows the option you chose, such as Accounting-Finance or Computer Science, and closes with a project or dissertation supervised by a faculty member. It is the work you will show an employer, and it is marked accordingly.
