Elections
How to run, step by step.
Here is how the election works.
STEP 01
Check you are eligible
You must be at least a 200 level student.
STEP 02
Nominate yourself
Students put their own names forward.
STEP 03
Campaign
Candidates make their case however reaches students: videos, flyers, conversations.
STEP 04
Speak in public
Every candidate gives a public speech, so the whole school knows what they stand for.
STEP 05
Students vote
By secret ballot. One student, one vote.
The structure
Nine elected officers.
Students elect all nine. The names of the officers in post will be published here once the council confirms them.
President
Leads the council and represents the whole student body.
Vice President
Deputises for the President.
Secretary General
Keeps the council’s records and its correspondence.
Communication
A Head of Communication and an assistant.

You don’t need a title to change something.
