Why study cybersecurity here
A region going digital
Banking, mobile money and public services now run online.
Hands-on and technical
Networks, cryptography and testing, not theory alone.
An LMD diploma
A three-year Licence that opens onto a Master.
Built for the region
Framed around West African banks, firms and institutions.
Course structure
Built on the LMD system, the Licence runs over six semesters and 180 ECTS credits. Year one is a common informatique foundation; you begin specialising in cybersecurity in the second year and fully through the third, which closes with an applied research project and an internship or professional project.
Year one
Shared foundation
Year one is the common informatique foundation shared across the field: algebra, discrete mathematics and analysis, algorithms and data structures, and a first course in programming and web development.
